Tree Stands
Getting yourself into the right position to take the shot has been the greatest challenge for any hunter since the dawn of time. Elevating the hunter in a tree stand offers a number of advantages. Typically large game that is moving through the forest is not expecting a threat from above and it is less likely that your scent will be carried to the game when the bow hunter is in a stand. There are some safety advantages as well when drawing on that bear for the first time. Lastly, the angle of a tree stand can make for cleaner, more tractable hit.
